The Dar es Salaam International Trade Fair (DITF) also known as SabaSaba takes place annually on the 28th of June at the Mwalimu J.K.Nyerere Trade Fair Grounds. It is located along Kilwa Road, 8 km south east of Dar es Salaam in Tanzania. The Dar es Salaam International Trade Fair is an annual major promotional event organized by Tanzania Trade Development Authority (TanTrade). This year Saba Saba will run from 28th July-13th July 2024 with a wealth of businesses beyond the borders of Tanzania.
Saba Saba brings a wealth of businesses and industries, products service producers, suppliers, sellers and consumers at one point, at Mwalimu Nyerere International Fair Grounds. Therefore, it is a great place with a concentration of a variety of industries, where you will be met with friendly faces and welcoming smiles, eager to showcase their products and expel their company’s efforts to achieve exposure, enlightening those with potential customer, reconnecting with lost customers, the flutter of exchange of business cards and the chatter of curiosity and inquisitiveness ringing through the grounds of Saba Saba.
Saba Saba is a platform that facilitates B2B Meetings for large and medium companies, who may sometimes be out-of-reach via avant-garde methods of interaction, hence the edge of Saba Saba promoting traditional/organic marketing where people can interact face-to-face, ask questions, address queries and have a more interactive and engaging transaction.
Saba Saba also serves as a business clinic, this is because Tanzania Authorities officials are strides away from the average citizen, to the higher ups in order to address business problems across several industries and gain access to their portal of viable solutions directly from the source, relevant to their problems
Our experience as a company, was one of enlightenment stemming from the pleasure of meeting a variety of industries, ranging from Government institutions to entrepreneurs who showed compassion and resilience in, to beloved home-grown brands to a wealth of foreign brands, who bring something different to the Tanzania economic landscape. It was great to be recipient of many vendors operations different from our own, divulging into their day-to-day regimes, their struggles and obstacles, share a joke or two, gain insights into a parallel universe different from our own.
Saba Saba is a great concentration of industries both within the border and outside the border, who all have varying backgrounds and operations, but share the mutual goal of success and sharing their path through it, via product showcasing, promotional material, knowledgeable representatives, informative leaflets and the exchange of business cards. Saba Saba isn’t an event to miss for an individual, a business, an entrepreneur or other realm, there is something there for everyone.
